Blocked fallopian tubes do not have specific symptoms and remain undetected until one is facing challenges while conceiving. Alternatively, depending on the cause, one may have painful periods, muscular pain during intercourse and pain in the pelvis region. Other known common symptoms include distress during urination, unpleasant bowel movements, extreme abdominal pain, lower back pain, exhaustion, and foul-smelling vaginal discharge.

There are various other conditions that can lead to blockage of fallopian tubes, causing different symptoms. For example, endometriosis causes very painful and heavy periods and pain in the pelvic region increasing risks for blocked fallopian tubes.
