Don’t be impatient: conceiving a child can take time. To put the odds on your side, adopt a healthy lifestyle, prepare your body for a future pregnancy, and adopt all the natural ways to boost male fertility we have mentioned below.
Let’s know how to boost your fertility, the right diet to boost fertility & natural ways to boost male fertility below-
Don’t- Never ignore your diet especially your folic acid intake. Almost a third of women of childbearing age lacks vitamin B9 (folic acid). Also, avoid exclusionary or overly restrictive diets which promote deficiencies and disrupt the hormonal cycle.
Do- A balanced diet & vitamin B9 is however, essential for the proper development of the fetus from the first four weeks of life. B9’s deficiency can lead to malformations of the neural tube and increases the risk of prematurity. So, one should always follow the right diet to boost fertility.
Vitamin B9 is present in many foods:
• Green vegetables, mainly leafy: spinach, cabbage, lamb’s lettuce, etc.
• Fruits: orange, melon, banana, etc.
• Seeds and oilseeds: corn, nuts, chestnuts, chickpeas, etc.
• Eggs.
• Eating green foods, leafy vegetables, oranges etc. are the natural ways to boost male fertility.
Another best way is Yoga to boost fertility. Yoga plays a great role in improving the fertility of both males & females, hence Yoga to boost fertility is the best option here.
Don’t- Don’t rush things! Stopping contraception does not automatically mean getting pregnant. You also have to be patient!
Do- The probability of getting pregnant is only 25% each month which means it takes an average of 7 months for a couple to conceive a child after stopping contraception, whatever be the mode.
Don’t- Do not ignore your age! Female fertility declines with age.
Do- Grab the right time. It is at its peak at 25, then gradually decreases. At 30, a woman who seeks to get pregnant has a 75% chance of achieving it within 12 months; 66% at 35 & 44% at 40 years old. Another consequence of age is a greater risk of miscarriage over the years: 12% around 25, 20% at 37, 30% at 43.
Don’t- Do not ignore diseases like Rubella, toxoplasmosis & chickenpox!
Do- Before planning a baby, it is advisable to consult your gynecologist and carry out a medical check-up. Its objective is to ensure good health and identify any obstacles for pregnancy.
• Look for immunity against rubella, toxoplasmosis and chickenpox, three diseases that can have serious consequences on the fetus using a blood test.
• Take the necessary measures in case of non-immunity (vaccines against rubella and chickenpox, dietary advice against toxoplasmosis).
• Be up to date with your vaccinations.
• Detect any deficiencies (iron, vitamin D, etc.) requiring supplementation.
• If necessary, screen for HIV and hepatitis B and C.
Don’t- Do not ignore your cycle, instead take interest in how it works!
Do- A woman is not fertile at any time during her menstrual cycle. The first day of your cycle is the first day of your period. Fertilization can only take place during ovulation.
In a normal cycle, it occurs around 13th or the 14th day & around the 21st day, if the cycle lasts for 35 days. To carry out your pregnancy planning, it is important to know how your cycle works!
Also, for there to be a pregnancy, you have to start by making love & if possible, at the right time, that is, when the woman is fertile, during ovulation.
Have sex two days before ovulation. This allows the sperm to enter the fallopian tubes just when the egg is released.
