Social Egg Freezing Procedure

Steps involved in Oocyte Cryopreservation are as follows:

A hormone medication is given so that a woman can produce 15 to 20 eggs in one month.

The eggs are removed from the ovary using a needle and are examined under the microscope to determine the mature eggs.

The matured eggs are frozen and preserved in liquid nitrogen for future use.

When the patient is ready to get pregnant, the eggs are then thawed and fertilised to create embryos.
